TIME: Several days
MEDIUM: Photoshop CS2 + Corel Painter X
Way back in 2003 I created these characters for a book I was developing. I have a lot of sketches and notes for the story but I haven't worked on it for years. These clowns are super powerful villains which live in these houses located in a swamp atop a twisted mountain.
Recently *TomatoDragon did a couple of illustrations for me depicting these characters. I realised I had never illustrated a final image myself. Also there is a local Bendigo art competition approaching so I'm going to enter this. The prize is a $1000 scholarship. I don't expect to win because it's not a typical Arty-Farty boring piece of crap.
Obviously Tim Burton has been a huge influence on me. Now when I decide to continue my work on the book I'll also include Terry Pratchett as an influence.
