I'm currently reading my 1st Terry Pratchett book "The Colour Of Magic". This series has instantly hooked me. Now it looks like I've got something else to spend my money on. Well here's my first ever fan art dedicated to Discworld. Rincewind is the main character to The Colour Of Magic. This also marks my 1st official illustration for the new year.
NOTE: I originally used a photo reference of Jim Carrey but the more I played around with it I accidentally made him look like Liam Neeson. I also see a bit of Nigel Planer in him too.

Pratchett and Vadim Jean are making Colour Of Magic a movie as we 'speak.' They already did Hogfather, another Discworld book.

I was a little disappointed to find David Jason cast as Rincewind in the upcoming Colour of Magic/Interesting Times tv movie, he made a great Albert, but I'm not sure if I can muster enough faith to believe him as a 30ish lanky incompetent Wizzard.
